Jeanette Loftus is a member of the Rotary Club of Flagler County and has been a Rotarian for 27 years, beginning her Rotary journey in Forked River, NJ. Jeanette served as District 6970 Governor in 2018-19 and has served as a Zones 33-34 GETS/GNTS Facilitator in 2020 & 2021, GNTS Lead Facilitator in 2022 and GETS Lead Facilitator in 2023. Jeanette served as District 6970 Rotary Foundation Chair 2020-2023, District Conference Chair 2021 & 2022 and is currently serving as Assistant Rotary Regional Foundation Coordinator. Jeanette has been an RLI Discussion Leader for 13 years and Discussion Leader Trainer for 8, and is currently the RLI Sunshine Division Chair-elect and will serve as Chair in 2025-26.
When not serving Rotary, Jeanette enjoys spending time with friends and family. Not surprisingly, her husband of 39 years, Tracy, is also a Rotarian and Past President. Jeanette is the mother of two boys, both of whom have been involved in Rotary; her eldest son Tim was a charter member of the Flagler County Rotaract Club, her youngest son Zach served as Club President of his Interact Club and her eldest granddaughter Emma Grace is Club President of her EarlyAct Club. To say that Rotary roots run deep in the Loftus Family is an understatement. In addition to Emma, Tracy and Jeanette have three more grandchildren, who are not old enough to be in Rotary yet. Tracy and Jeanette both believe that their children and grandchildren are better citizens of our world because of their involvement in Rotary.
When not serving Rotary, Jeanette and Tracy enjoy traveling around the country and the State of Florida in their 40-foot motorcoach with friends and family, and sometimes while serving Rotary. In fact, it is their goal to travel to Calgary for the 2025 RI Convention in their coach, touring a plethora of US National Parks along their journey.
